Discernment is the ability to make sound judgments, perceive subtle differences, and understand things clearly, especially that which is not obvious. It often refers to the ability to perceive and understand the will or activity of God or the difference between spiritual influences. 

As I enter my autumn years, and the months quickly become years, I can't help but reflect on my own life. Whether I've truly accepted and learned from the volatile, unpredictable, and challenging lessons I've been presented. Did I relished in my triumphs through my inflated ego or show true humility? Have I forgiven myself and others, and in defeat have I shown honor and perseverance, and most importantly, am I a worthy steward for the Lord?

The word "conquer" means by definition to successfully overcome (a problem or weakness). It's a word easily spoken but consistently one of the hardest task to implement.

I've always tried to live by the word of God, and what I call the "three M's". Much like the Fortune 500 corporation, my 3 M's represent my mantra for any and all decisions I have to make. There are three things that effect your choices, goals and plans. The 3 M's include; Mouth, Motive and Moves.

For the first time in years, as I dressed for an evening out, while preparing I noticed my gold jewelry clashing with the platinum silver I wear daily.
